Ja, finde ich auch, selten so schöne Pfeilspitzen gesehen... Ich hoffe, dass ich ein paar Kristalle heil vor die Makrolinse bekomme... frisch sublimierte Sachen am Kühlfinger und nach dem absammeln sehen ja schon gerne sehr unterschiedlich aus.

Wenn ich das nur wüsste Ich schrieb ja, das kommt aus einem Abfallgefäß das leuchtende ist Perylentetracarboxylat, das Salz keine Ahnung, hatte da KOH oder NaOH ins Wasser gekippt. Evtl das Carbonat oder ich hatte irgendwann nochmal NaCl rein getan (warum auch immer ich das hätte tun sollen). Was genau die Salzmatrix ist weiß ich also nicht. Kantenlänge etwa 4 mm. Habe auch gerade die Kamera nicht dabei sonst hätte ich schon bessere Bilder gemacht

Mein erster Gedanke war auch, dass es NaCl ist, passt ja wunderbar von der Form... Bin aber dennoch unsicher wo das Chlorid herkommen soll... Den koste ich nicht, der ist wirklich zu toll. Dass er unter UV-Licht ziemlich stark leuchtet ist schon nice. Man könnte tatsächlich überlegen solche mal gezielt zu machen.

Egal aus was der Kristall besteht, er ist auf seine Art schön. Und das muß erstmal gesehen werden.

Um den Kristall wäre es im Moment noch zu schade. Lieber die Mutterlauge dem "Ionenlotto", also einer qualitativen Analyse unterziehen. Einige Tropfen davon, mit Salpetersäure und Silbernitrat zeigt Halogenid. Dann mit den verschiedenen Komplexbildnern zum Lösen überreden und wissen, welches es war.Einfach mal kosten!

Es ist immert wieder schön beim Aufräumen solche Sachen anzutreffen...
Ich habe vor kurzem ein RG aufgeräumt in dem ich vor langer Zei mal versucht habe Butanol zu Buttersäure zu oxidieren. Darin befand sich ein schönes sehr dunkelrot-violett gefärbtes Kristallagregat welches vermutlich aus Kaliumchromsulfat besteht.
Ich habe vor kurzem ein RG aufgeräumt in dem ich vor langer Zei mal versucht habe Butanol zu Buttersäure zu oxidieren. Darin befand sich ein schönes sehr dunkelrot-violett gefärbtes Kristallagregat welches vermutlich aus Kaliumchromsulfat besteht.
Hier ein etwas bessere Bild, aber man kann den Dreck (vom Runterallen auf den Boden) zu gut sehen. Am besten wäre es vermutlich einfach neue Kristalle zu züchten. In der jetzigen Form gefällt es mir nicht wirklich.

Wer noch nicht in Idar Oberstein war, dem rate ich dringend dort mal hinzufahren.
Dort reiht sich ein Mineralienladen an den anderen und man bekommt dort auch recht günstig Verneuil-birnen, also künstliche Saphire/Rubine sozusagen.
Unbedingt lohnt es sich auch das Edelstein und Mineralienmuseum anzusehen.
Hab durch Zufall und Glück sogar einen Rubin Laserstab bekommen.
Ein Lebenstraum:
Leider nicht funktionstüchtig da Einschlüsse enthalten sind.
