Ergänzend noch dazu: Die Strukturformeln sollten nochmal etwas aufgehübscht werden (kleiner, kompakter,...). Wichtiger ist mir aber, dass auf jeden Fall auch die Enol-Form des Curcumin gezeigt werden sollte, da es sich dabei (so vermute ich) um das stabilere von beiden Tautomeren handelt (vgl.: Acetylaceton, nur dass es hier sogar noch durchkonjugiert ist).

Ja, das hängt auch stark von der Konzentration des Curcumins ab. Man müsste mal sehen ob es in Lösung schneller ausbleicht als auf Filterpapier, weiß da jemand etwas zu (also ob Lösungen schneller ausbleichen als Feststoffe)?
Die Größe ist eher eine Geschmacksfrage, aber ich finde es angenehmer wenn viel "Formel-Information" in wenig Sichtfeld vorhanden ist. Es ist oft leichter eine Reaktionsfolge zu erkennen und zu verstehen wenn man ein Formel-Fließschema hat, das zwar etwas komplizierter zu lesen/verstehen ist, als wenn alle Einzelreaktionen weiter auseinander stehen und das Produkt immer als neues Edukt der nächsten Reaktion geschrieben wird (bei dir jetzt nicht der Fall).

Sowas sollte man ebenfalls vermeiden. Durch die Pfeile wird das ganze mechanistisch und so wie es geschrieben ist wird impliziert, dass der Angriff konzertiert stattfindet. Es wäre sinnvoller den ersten Angriff zu formulieren und den zweiten mit einem doppelten Reaktionspfeil zu überspringen.

Ich tippe mal darauf, daß Lösungen meistens empfindlicher sind als Feststoffe. Die gelösten Moleküle sind ja von ellen Seiten zugänglich und bieten Radikalen viele Angriffspunkte. Durch Solvatationseffekte können auch mehr aktivierte Zustände abgefangen werden, als im Feststoff.
Manche Substanzen können als Feststoff kurzfristig an Luft gehandhabt werden, während man der Lösung beim "vor-sich-hin-oxidieren" zusehen kann, ohne daß Langeweile aufkommt. Im Feststoff können sich ja die meisten Moleküle im Inneren des Kristalls verstecken und nur Wenige sind an der Oberfläche.

Das hätte ich so auch vermutet, man sieht das ja oft auch bei oxidationsempfindlichen Substanzen, dass die Kristalle dann von außen nach innen abranzen (sieht man auch schon bei der Verwitterung von CuSO4-Kristallen gut).
Fluorescein wäre vermutlich auch ein gutes Beispiel, das ist ja in Lösung wie auch die Rhodamine nach recht kurzer Zeit tot. Dann könnte es sich doch lohnen das Curcumin als Timelaps mal in Lösung zu Tode zu strahlen.

ja, hat mir auch insofern Kopfzerbrechen bereitet als es vorschlägt dass da ein doppelt deprotoniertes Molekül vorliegt... wollte aber keine 2x selben Schritte malen. Sonst bei den Geschmacksfragen bin ich ein wenig limitiert mit den Optionen was das Zeichenprogramm hergibt bzw das Forum daraus macht, bevor ich mir da einen Knoten ins Hirn mache lasse ich es im Zweifelsfall lieber so wie es straight forward geht wenn es nicht zu viel Kopfweh macht

Den nimmt man in der Regel wenn man mehrere Folgestufen hat, aber bei repetitiven Mechanismen (gerade Mehrfachadditionen/Substitutionen), kann man solche Pfeile auch benutzen um es sich zu sparen die zweite Reaktion mit dem Vanillin zu zeigen.

Sieht schon besser aus Wobei man mechanistische Sachen besser noch genauer ausführen sollte, aber da es sich um eine Aldolkondensation handelt braucht man das hier nicht unbedingt.
Das ist ein Hin- und Rückreaktionspfeil. Bitte einen Gleichgewichtspfeil verwenden.

Richtig, aber die finden auch beide gleichzeitig statt. Bei dem Hin- und Rückreaktionspfeil ist diese Gleichzeitigkeit nicht gefordert, lediglich die Umkehrbarkeit. Darum nimmt man den H+R-Reaktionspfeil z.B. für die Gleichungen beim Bleiakku.

Ich hatte für das UV-Bleichen eine Lösung in EtOAc gemacht, die Lösung hatte ich stehen lassen und seitdem ist das Lösungsmittel aus dem Vial verdampft, dabei haben sich dann am Rand kleine Kristalle gebildet... Maßstab sind <10 mg, die Kristalle sind ~1-2 mm und das sind die Schönsten von den restlichen die leicht schmodderig aussehen, aber eventuell könnte man auf diese Weise Impfkristalle erzeugen mit der man anschließend eine gesättigte Lösung animpfen kann und durch langsames Verdampfen Kristalle erzeugen.
