Ja natürlich, andernfalls wäre das in der Strukturformel gekenntzeichnet, das ganze nennt sich Chloranil. Falls du das helle meinst: das ist die Reflexion an einigen der Plättchen.

@NI2: Ja, ich meinte die weiß aussehenden Kristalle, die haben mich irritiert (natürlich gehe ich davon aus, daß wenn DU etwas mit Struktuformel abbildest, es sich nicht um ein Gemenge aus verschiedenen Stoffen handelt, aber es war irritierend. Zuerst dachte ich sogar, es seien Filterpapierschnipsel)

Der zweite Komplex ist überraschend schön kristallisiert. Das war makroskopisch nicht so beeindruckend. Dagegen binn ich von den roten Kristallen etwas enttäuscht, die schienen mehr herzumachen, sind aber nicht so schön geformt.

Genau das hat mich auch überrascht, die roten Kristalle sahen eigentlich sehr gut aus und der orange Komplex eher langweilig. Die roten sind auch ein wenig zu dunkel um sie auf Schwarz zu knipsen, aber ich habe noch keine brauchbare Technik für weißen Hintergrund. Von den roten hab ich noch einen Probeschuss der recht gut geworden ist, aber die orangen haben mir dann doch wesentlich besser gefallen.

In den alten Veröffentlichungen sind laufend die Kristallformen beschrieben, teils auch im Mikroskop betrachtet. Da werden auch die Winkel von Begrenzungsflächen angegeben und die Kristallform zur Identifizierung der Substanzen mit herangezogen. Wie man bei dem Mikrofoto des rohen Tetraamminaquochlorokobalt(III)-chlorids sieht, kann auch die Reinheit der Substanz damit geprüft - oder besser gesagt: bestimmte Verunreinigungen können erkannt werden.

Tip 1: Ja, es ist rot/lila. Ja, es ist von mir. Nein, es ist kein Porphyrin.
Tip 2: Säule Kieselgel, Laufmittel Toluol. Die zweite Bande ist das Produkt.
Tip 3: Das 1H-NMR sieht ausgesprochen langweilig aus.
