Ammoniakwasser 25%
Probe
Durchführung:
Die Probe wird mit 10 ml Ammoniakwasser im Reagenzglas gemischt.
Die Flüssigkeit färbt sich...
- Braun -> Eisen(III)
- Grün -> Eisen(II)
- Weiß -> Aluminium
- Weiß (im Überschuss) -> Zink
- Grün (Überschuss -> Blau) -> Nickel
- Blau (Überschuss -> Grün) -> Cobalt
- Blass Rosa -> Mangan
- Grün -> Chrom
Entsorgung:
Reste werden in die Schwermetallabfälle gegeben.
Erklärung:
Es bilden sich die jeweiligen Hydroxide, die spezifische Farben haben. Bei Zugabe eines Überschusses kommt es bei Nickel und Cobalt zu weiteren Farbänderungen, da sich Amminkomplexe bilden.
Beispiel:
Fe2+ + 2 NH3 + 2 H2O ---> Fe(OH)2 + 2 NH4+

Nach der Zugabe von Ammoniaklösung.
Nachdem einmal durchmischt wurde.

Die Probe hab ich aus dem Keller meines verstorbenen Großvater, der in Jungen Jahren, d.h 1955-1960 mit Chemie hantiert hatte. das Zeug war in ner Weissbleich/Eisen/was weiss ich-Dose mit undichtem Schraubverschluss verwahrt. Mein Großvater hatte damals 25g Samarium für mehrere Hundert Mark erstanden(ist mittlerweile unbrauchbar nur noch Samariumoxid) und teilweise zu Samariumverbindungen verarbeitet(d.h. Sm-Sulfat&Chlorid). Auf jeden Fall ist das Zeug schon seeeehr alt.
