Aber halt längst nicht nur... Was man sonst noch damit machen könnte...nen Farbstofflaser bauen.  Dann wären die Kristalle aber nach jedem Betrieb reif zum Ersetzen. Da sind mir Excimerlaser, Kohlenstoffdioxid- und Stickstofflaser lieber...

Excimerlaser sind "künstlerischer" (oder so...)!  Oder kannst du Xe2 herstellen? Siehste!, aber ein Excimerlaser kann das.

Zu wenig Leistung...
Das wäre u.U. eine Überlegung wert. Im Selbstbau würde ich aber auch einen Festkörperlaser bevorzugen. Immerhin würde ich den Laser demonstrieren wollen und ihn nicht dazu benutzen, Betonwände zu zerschneiden. Wenn ich Zeit, Lust und Geld hab, mach ich vllt. mal was dazu.

Nun, das kann man dann erstrecht nicht angeben! Hängt doch von der Länge der Gasentladungsröhre und dem elektrischen Widerstand ihrer Füllung ab! Hochspannung wird schon nötig sein...

Habe den Versuch mit 1:2 Natriumacetat:Fluorescein durchgeführt....
(Natriumacetat war recht verunreinigt, was daher kommt, da ich ihn durch Reaktion von Natriumhydroxid mit Essigsäureethylester synthetisiert hatte ) Allerdings brodelte es nur (und dampfte).... der Dampf war brennbar und erinnerte mich stark an den Geruch im Krankenhauslaobor...... Entweder das Brennbare ist ein Abfallprodukt der Esterverseifung oder das Fluorescein hat anders Reagiert..... z.B. sich zu Benzol gespalten....... wonach riecht Benzol? |

Wie sollte sich das bitte zu Benzol spalten?! Achja: Wie Benzol riecht...naja, aromatisch halt.
Und...2 TEILE FLUORESCEIN auf 1 Teil Natriumacetat?  Das Verhältnis sollte eher Fluorescein:Natriumacetat 1:5000-10 000 sein... Viel hilft halt manchmal ganz und garnicht viel...
