Dann solltest du dich mal darüber belesen, da du ja scheinbar studierst sollte das Thema "Chromatographie" noch eine wichtige Rolle spielen und die DC ist eine sehr schnelle Methode, aus der man mit etwas Glück (und idealerweise einer Referenzsubstanz) eine "recht umfangreiche Analytik" machen kann. Natürlich ersetzt es kein NMR HPLC-MS oder GC-MS, aber du kannst zum Beispiel sagen ob dein Rohprodukt noch dein Edukt enthält, wie viele Nebenprodukte und dann ein wenig quantifizieren. Im einfachsten Fall kann man aber erst einmal sagen ob der Umsatz vollständig war. Alles andere hängt dann von dem Stoffgemisch ab.

Hab das Verfahren noch nie verwendet
In deiner Versuchsvorschrift ist sogar unter "Bemerkung" angemerkt, dass ein DC gemacht werden kann / oder sogar soll. Ich finde es auch seltsam wieso du unbedingt ein IR machen möchtest. NMR ist in der org. Chemie meistens die Methode der Wahl.

@ frankie: Je nach Uni und Praktikum sind bestimmte Geräte leichter verfügbar. Bei uns können die Studenten in OCII frei am IR messen, NMR hingegen nicht.
